Ball point pen on the morning newsprint

President Obama continues to be a president of firsts. Yesterday he appeared on CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, and Univision network to talk about his health care proposals. The five interviews marked the most talk show appearances on a single Sunday by a president. Conspicuously absent from the lineup was Fox News.

I was just thinking the same thing as your last line here! No Fox. Interesting.

Welcome back Larry. Let's try and get together soon.

Thanks Steve. That would be great. Our summer BBQ plans have turned into a fall get together... I'll check with Donna and get back to you.

Conspicuous? Ehh . . . I don't blame them. Who knows if this over-exposure will hurt this administration in the long run. Hope you enjoyed your week away!

If I thought they didn't make themselves available to Fox for fear of being overexposed, I might agree. But by making themselves available to everyone but, it appears to be punishing a news outlet for unfavorable coverage. While that may be justified (no arguing that Fox leans to the right) said punishment may have lost them an opportunity to persuade the largest concentration of those who disagree with the president. If he wants to shift the numbers (and I think he can) he has to stop preaching to the choir and persuade Foxes demographic. Thanks Vee...as you can tell, I'm well rested and champing at the bit.
