Ball point pen on the morning newsprint

Yesterday in Iraq President Bush suffered a grave Arab insult, having two shoes thrown at him.

"This is your farewell kiss, you dog" the corespondent to an Egyptian TV station yelled as he hurled his shoes at Bush.

The President, managed to duck both incoming shoes and later joked they were "a size 10"

I want to send the man a medal. He did what a lot of us would like to have done. Too bad he is going to loose his job and got beat up for expressing the opinion of the majority of the world. That certainly got Bush out of his cocoon of ignorance of the rest of the world feelings. As to the respect to give to the president he lost my respect a long time ago, doesn't deserve respect and has not given respect to anybody (torture) things (economy) the future president (refusing the use of Blair house) and the constitution. I cannot wait for the day the bum is out.

Michel, don't hold back, tell us how you really feel. One note: Even though it's a very big insult in the Arab world, Bush wasn't offended. He joked "I didn't know what the guy said, but I saw his sole." Bush clearly had a tongue in his cheek when he said that.

I believe Bush simply said,"Do you have these in a size 10!"

Hi Larry, My friends in Ireland have rejoiced that Bush is out. They tell me everybody there hates him. They also say they love American people. Pat
