Ball point pen on the morning newsprint

Even though I didn't have a dog in the race, I have to admit that it was a great football game full of strategy, surprises and suspense. Santonio Holmes came up big on Pittsburgh's last drive to put the Steelers ahead for good and capture the Super Bowl MVP.

Yes, it was quite a game. I'm not a big sports fanatic, but my son was born on Superbowl Sunday one year, and so I kind of get into the Superbowl. This is wonderful, Larry!

Nice for him to have the whole country celebrating.

The game was truly great but I think the 100-yard Harris interception run was better. He's a big guy. And I'm still stoked about the catch from last year's Super Bowl . . . he caught the ball behind his head with defenders literally on him.

I'm with you VEe! I think Harrison's pick and runback was the play and player of the game. The networks always give the Kudos to the last guy to do something great without regards to how meaningless Holmes catch would have been without Harrison's pick or if Burress's TD catch would have been possible without David Tyree's impossible catch behind his helmet in last years SB....Americans have short memories.
