Ball point pen on today's great news

I'll never pause again, never stand still,
Till either death hath closed these eyes of mine
Or fortune given me measure of revenge.

William Shakespeare, Henry the VI, Part III

Justice has been done.

It was cathartic, drawing bin Laden's face this morning on the news of his death.

Click here to view a drawing I created  nearly ten years ago to raise funds for the 9/11 victims and their families.

I'm sad that we're in a place to rejoice in anyone's death, but he put us in that place so let's rejoice....but with both eyes wide open.

Well, we could celebrate that we had an intelligence victory, that our logistic capabilities matched our expectations. that our leaders valued justice over partisan politics, that we brought closure to so many families destroyed by 9/11. And, even though the bible advised against it, I think it's natural to celebrate the demise our enemy, especially one who plotted and rejoiced in the killing of so many innocent people.

Never thought we'd get Bin Laden...glad we did. That 9/11 painting is incredible. Beautifully done.

That 9/11 piece. wow. On Bin Laden, while I won't celebrate his death I will breathe a sigh of relief. Yet, I hear Lisa loud and clear.
