While it’s uplifting to see majority populations demand justice from the minority ruling class in the Arab world, no event happens in a vacuum. It would appear that Iran is making it’s bid to fill the power void left by the uprisings. That has to make some people at the state department nervous.

On the eve of a major speech President Obama will deliver to the Muslim world from Cairo Egypt, Obama was hosted by Saudi King Abdullah. The King praised the president and presented him with the King Abdul Aziz Order of Merit, the kingdoms highest honor.
