President Obama is committed to reviving the Arab-Israeli peace process. Yesterday, King Abdullah II of Jordan came to the White House to present the Arab position. The meeting marked the fist time an Arab leader has had an audience with a US president.

Abdullah attended school in England at St. Edmund’s School , and Eaglebrook School and Deerfield Academy in the United States. His university training was at Pembroke College, Oxford. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He took command of the Jordanian special forces in 1993 as Major General and became King in 1999, upon the death of his father King Hussein.
