Tamra Davis’s documentary, The Radiant Child, opens today. The film is built around archival film of interviews with the street art phenom that shot to stardom and flamed out in the 80′s.

    I recently saw the ’96 biopic piece, I loved David Bowie’s performance. He was hilarious.

    Yeah, I caught that too Vee on Encore last week. I’m conflicted by this guy. I’m not a believer in graffiti art, but I feel empathy towards Basquiat. He was a pawn in a high stakes game that he was ill prepared for.
