Nov 11, 09 at 4:56 pmHI Larry, I missed seeing Veteran’s Day last year, so a belated note on that and it’s important to remember the veterans of today as I recall my dad too, who fought in the Battle of Okinawa at the age of 19 and carried on his hands the “jungle rot” all his life. I am always moved by those who give military service. Pat

I think our dads had a common trait that I admire, even though they lived with a constant reminder to a tragic event, they didn’t let it define who they were.
