I just recently showed my film class "On the Waterfront" and enjoyed his performance as the Hoboken priest. I also believe I saw him in "A Streetcar Named Desire" at Lincoln Center in about '72 (?) with my friend Karen. Also, my dad worked as a longshoreman in Hoboken during the time of filming "On the Waterfront"....early '50's... and said he had met Marlon Brando and Karl Malden. Anyhow, Karl Malden:longevity.
