I always loved Karl Malden--what a beautiful portrait/tribute to him, Larry! You really captured him here. He was an excellent actor. I was really sad to hear he had died on the way home from work the other day.

Hi Larry, I like the drawing of Karl Malden. I just recently showed my film class "On the Waterfront" and enjoyed his performance as the Hoboken priest. I also believe I saw him in "A Streetcar Named Desire" at Lincoln Center in about '72 (?) with my friend Karen. Also, my dad worked as a longshoreman in Hoboken during the time of filming "On the Waterfront"....early '50's... and said he had met Marlon Brando and Karl Malden. Anyhow, Karl Malden:longevity. Pat
