There's no correcting and if I do two there will be differences. Sometimes I do a warm up drawing and I like it better than the one I do over the related text. In this case the second drawing, like Micheal, has flaws but it had a certain angelic quality that I liked, so I posted them both. His mother, who bore that angelic face must have shed many a tear watching the metamorphosis. These are spontaneous doodles done in ball point pen. I just felt very sad to learn of his death. I grew up dancing along with my son to Thriller and he really was an amazing talent. He makes me think of Marilyn and Elvis and Judy Garland in the sense that they gave everything of their phenomenal talent, but were pretty much sucked dry of their own lives. Wonderful, Larry.
