But will deficits keep carriers from their appointed rounds? US Postmaster General John Potter proposed a five day a week mail service. Testifying before congress, Potter asked law makers to remove the annual appropriation bill rider that requiring the Postal Service to deliver six days each week. Personally, I can’t think of anything that comes in the mail that I can’t wait an extra day for.

I’m with you on that one Larry, I open the mail box and drop almost all and more often than not all of it directly in the bin. Another great drawing.

I must be old–I can actually remember getting mail delivered 2x/day when I was small! I’ll be curious to see what they do. Wonderful portrait!
