Sarah Palin

Youth, Beauty, and Conservative…Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin is on McCain’s short list. But the last time I checked, Alaska wasn’t in the South, and as much as I hate to admit…it always comes down to the South.

That it usually does! I read her name recently and was thinking I need to read up on her more. I am curious as to whom he’s going to pick.

She probably hates the fact that every bio leads with the fact that she was a beauty pageant winner and competed to be Miss Alaska…unlikely to win over many feminists with that. Three years younger than Obama, very conservative on the issue of life, and the second amendment. A life time member of the NRA.

This geographic impediment on Sarah Palin is getting sooooooo tiring. It is ridiculous. Palin’s voter base and attraction TRANSCENDS GEOGRAPHY (as do McCain’s, Obama’s and Hillary’s for that matter).

    Hi Ted,

Glad to have you aboard, I agree with you, I know you couldn’t see it, but my tongue was planted partially in my cheek. I’m not a southerner and it’s one of my peeves that every ticket has to include one. I do try to judge people based on the content of their character and the issues most important to me, as you obviously do. But the unfortunate reality is that the candidate will choose the person most likely to help them get elected. Political science experts are busy as we speek crunching the numbers based on race, gender, geographic location, sex appeal, and the all important would I like to go out for a beer with them demographic.

    Sad.

But I digress…. this site is about my daily portrait …what do you think of the drawing?
